2D/1N HIKE TO RINJANI CRATER RIM (VIA SENARU ROUTE)

HIGHLIGHT: This tour is suitable for beginner and travellers who have short on time but still want to enjoy beautiful view of Rinjani volcano. Starting and ending in Senaru, this tour provides spectacular views of the Lake Segara Anak within the Rinjani volcano’s crater.

ITENARARY:

Arrival Day: Pick up service and transfer to the hotel within Senaru area. Hotel check in and overnight here. (This service can be excluded if you have been in Senaru or other places which are not far from Senaru)

Day 01: After an early breakfast, we start the trek at around 08.00 a.m. through Senaru gate trail. We will pass thick tropical forest rich in flora, bird life and variety of butterflies. The first 30 to 40 minutes walking, we are welcome by the open views of green coffee plantation, bamboos, and a variety of mix plantations that grows by local for living. Then we stop at post 1 for break a while and enjoy snack or drink. Then we continue walking. It takes about 3 hours to get post 2. At post 2 we stop for a longer break and lunch. Next we continue the journey to reach post 3. Break for a while, Then the last point is crater rim after walking for about 2 hours from post 3. We camp the night at Senaru crater rim and enjoy beautiful views offers from this place.

Here are some attractions can be seen from Senaru crater rim: best view of Segara anak lake surrounded by Rinjani mountain, spectacular sunset over 3 gilis, best view of new volcano (mount Baru Jari) in the middle of Segara Anak lake, peak of mount Rinjani, etc.

Day 02: After having breakfast, at 08.00 a.m. we start descending from the campsite and back to Senaru trail gate. It takes around 6 hours. After a break, our driver will pick you up and drop off to your next destination.

2D/1N HIKING TO MOUNT RINJANI HOT SPRINGS AND LAKE

HIGHLIGHT: If you think climbing to the rim and summit is too hard and spends longer time, we also offer you hiking just to the hot spring and lake of Mt.Rinjani. We can get there in one day walk up,camping a night there and back home on the second day.

ITENARARY: First our driver will pick you up at your hotel and drive you to Barung Birak village. You meet our guide and give you some explanation about the hike. This hike starts from my village, not from the gate of Senaru nor Sembalun. The gate in my village is special for hot spring and lake hike. We walk up through the jungle of Rinjani National Park. This route gives you special thing to enjoy. Such as we can see beautiful cliffs and the big waterfall which is faraway from public access. Water is available all the way up so if we want to wash and clean something it is we easily can do it.
Hot springs are many. You can choose which you like to visit. The heat is variety. Hot apring of Mt.Rinjani is believed by local as  holly and secret place. We believe it can cure skin deases. So, hot spring is one of the main destination for many people besides hiking summit of Mt.Rinjani. Not only hot springs, there is also lake with the active volcano in the middle. We can enjoy beauty of lake and volcano after bathing at hot springs. We can see so many local people fishing in the lake for there is a lots of fish in it. Then we build  tent nearby the lake and spend the night here. Next day we back home and drive you back to your hotel.

CAMPING ON MOUNT PERGASINGAN : THE BEST CHOICE FOR BEGINNER TREKKER

Campsite On Mount Pergasingan

HIGHLIGHT: Mount Pergasingan is another lower mount close to mount Rinjani. It is located in Sembalun village. It takes 2 hours to hike it. This lower mount has beautiful view to see such as rice field terraces, Sembalun village, the summit of mount Rinjani, two Gilis in the east of Lombok, etc.Hiking this mount is a solution when we don't have enough longer time to hike mount Rinjani. It also a choice for beginners. It also spends cheap cost of guiding service and shorter time. 

ITENARARY:

12.00 - 13.30: Our driver pick you up at your hotel lobby and drive to Barung Birak to meet the guide. Then we continue driving to Sembalun area.

14.00 - 16.00: Arrival at sembalun, take a rest and get some short briefing from our trekking guide and prepare all the stuff for soft trekking. Once everything is set, we continue the journey to trekk mount Pergasingan. Trail leading through the hills Pergasingan tended vegetable gardens and rice fields that surround Sembalun Lawang. The first stop is on the ridge of the Pergasingan Hill, a spot distance of approximately 1.5 hours of Sembalun Lawang village. the ridge trail leading through a very extensive grasslands. Enjoy snacks time.

16.30 - 18.00: The trail between the ridge to the summit is not too steep, after 1.5 hours you will reach Pergasingan Hilltop, a place where you can watch the entire village of Sembalun and hills that surround it. At this time we can see the beauty of Rinjani view and sunset. Then our guide and porter build the tent to spend the night.

19.00 - 22.00: Having dinner, we make a bonfire to warm you enjoy the night. You can see the night view of Sembalun village from the top. There are also many local tourist camping on this place. Our guide will accompany you spend the night and tell you all information about attraction around mount Pergasingan.

05.30-06.30: wake up early morning while having a glass of tea to enjoy the beautifull sunrise from mount pergasingan. See the beauty of ricefield terraces, sembalun village, and the clearly view of mount Rinjani in the morning.

07.00-10.00: Having breakfast, after taking some pictures, then we depart Pergasingan. We will walk down for around 2 hours to the parking area where the car is waiting to take you back to your hotel
