RINJANI TREKKING 4D/3N TO CRATER RIM, SUMMIT AND LAKE

HIGHLIGHT: This package covers climbing Rinjani Summit and camping at Segara Anak lake. This spends 4 days and 3 nights. The program starts from Sembalun to the crater rim Sembalun, summit, Lake and down to Senaru village. This program is suitable for beginner climbers and for those of you who want to enjoy all the natural beauty of the mountain Rinjani.

ITENARARY :

Arrival day:
We will pick you up at the airport of Lombok or other place in Lombok island and transfer to the hotel in Sembalun, Senaru or Barung Birak (optional). We will be met at the hotel to inform you about the program and provide guidance to prepare you for the journey.

Day 1:

Wake up at 7:00 am and get breakfast. After that we will walk to register at the Rinjani information center Sembalun. Trekking start from the village of Sembalun around 8:00 am. We start with a gentle climb through open meadow. After about 2 hours of walking, we will reach the post 1 (1300m), and another 40 minutes to Pos 2 (1500m). We will continue to Pos 3 (1800m) and have lunch here.

After lunch and rest, we will go to Sembalun crater rim (2639m). It takes 3 hours including a prolonged steep climb. We will camp the night on the crater rim. We can enjoy the view of sunrise and sunset.

Day 2:

We wake up around 2:00 am under the cover of darkness with a hot drink and a light breakfast. We will start heading to the summit of Rinjani at 3:00 am. We start with a moderate trek, followed by a fairly easy but longer trek. Final approach that involves climbing up steep volcanic scree looser.

At 6:00.am We can reach the summit (3726 m) with a beautiful sunrise, and panoramic view of Lombok island, the island of Bali, the island of Sumbawa and Segara Anak Lake.

After that, we will descend into the crater rim Sembalun within 2 hours and have breakfast here. Then we’ll continue descend to Segara Anak Lake for 3 hours.

We stop at the side of the lake to rest. Here we can enjoy the view of the lake, and swimming in the lake. Bath in hot water can soothe away your aches and pains of traveling and is widely known for its natural healing powers.Our porters will prepare lunch for us, dinner and over in the tent at lake side (2000 m).

Day 3:

After the lunch, we will leave the lake and up to Senaru crater rim (2641m). Our campsite for the night, Senaru crater rim has the most spectacular view. We will enjoy an incredible sunset over Mount Agung in Bali and the smoke from the new volcano on the edge of the lake.

Day 4:

After breakfast with a beautiful sunrise, we will leave Mount Rinjani descend to Senaru village through the rainforest. If we are lucky, we can see the rare black monkey. It takes 5 hours and we will take lunch along the way. Arrive at Senaru village (601 m) the Car will take you to your next destination.

COUNTRYSIDE TOUR IN MY VILLAGE BARBIR (BARUNG BIRAK)

Many tourists usually visit Sindang Gile and Tiu Kelep waterfalls. But now we give you another option and new experience. We call this simple tour the barbir Countryside tour. This tour covers cultural attraction, panorama beauty of Lendang Dangar, and the clean beach Montong Gedeng.

ITENARARY: It starts from my village, Barung Birak. First we walk around in the village to discover the cultural life of the village. We can see bamboo mosque or traditional mosque and traditional house. You can take pictures and get informations and learn about the social life and cultural in the village. After walking around in my village, we continue the journey to Lendang Dangar area. Lendang Dangar is the name of local small village. Walk around in Lendang Dangar village we can see Lombok natural plantation where you can not find in other country. Lendang Dangar area is good for night camping if you are interested in camping. Quite and nice place for making a bonfire. It is about 1000 meters above the sea level. We also can try Ite Pade swing at the location. Enjoy the beauty of large grassland of this area.

CAMPING ON MOUNT PERGASINGAN : THE BEST CHOICE FOR BEGINNER TREKKER

Campsite On Mount Pergasingan

HIGHLIGHT: Mount Pergasingan is another lower mount close to mount Rinjani. It is located in Sembalun village. It takes 2 hours to hike it. This lower mount has beautiful view to see such as rice field terraces, Sembalun village, the summit of mount Rinjani, two Gilis in the east of Lombok, etc.Hiking this mount is a solution when we don't have enough longer time to hike mount Rinjani. It also a choice for beginners. It also spends cheap cost of guiding service and shorter time. 

ITENARARY:

12.00 - 13.30: Our driver pick you up at your hotel lobby and drive to Barung Birak to meet the guide. Then we continue driving to Sembalun area.

14.00 - 16.00: Arrival at sembalun, take a rest and get some short briefing from our trekking guide and prepare all the stuff for soft trekking. Once everything is set, we continue the journey to trekk mount Pergasingan. Trail leading through the hills Pergasingan tended vegetable gardens and rice fields that surround Sembalun Lawang. The first stop is on the ridge of the Pergasingan Hill, a spot distance of approximately 1.5 hours of Sembalun Lawang village. the ridge trail leading through a very extensive grasslands. Enjoy snacks time.

16.30 - 18.00: The trail between the ridge to the summit is not too steep, after 1.5 hours you will reach Pergasingan Hilltop, a place where you can watch the entire village of Sembalun and hills that surround it. At this time we can see the beauty of Rinjani view and sunset. Then our guide and porter build the tent to spend the night.

19.00 - 22.00: Having dinner, we make a bonfire to warm you enjoy the night. You can see the night view of Sembalun village from the top. There are also many local tourist camping on this place. Our guide will accompany you spend the night and tell you all information about attraction around mount Pergasingan.

05.30-06.30: wake up early morning while having a glass of tea to enjoy the beautifull sunrise from mount pergasingan. See the beauty of ricefield terraces, sembalun village, and the clearly view of mount Rinjani in the morning.

07.00-10.00: Having breakfast, after taking some pictures, then we depart Pergasingan. We will walk down for around 2 hours to the parking area where the car is waiting to take you back to your hotel
